The International Exhibition for Track Technology (iaf), which has established itself as an important platform for track and superstructure and brings together the leading players in the rail industry, took place this year in Münster, Germany, May 20 to 22, 2025.
The iaf 2025 was once again held under the motto "Track to the Future". It symbolizes the combination of machine technology with state-of-the-art technologies in track construction in order to increase the service life of the machine and track, save raw materials and increase efficiency for the customer. The event emphasized the importance of digitalization, exchange and knowledge transfer, globalization and safety in track technology.
Trimble Railway is proud to have been part of this impressive exhibition, which fascinates far beyond the professional world. Trimble presented its innovative solutions in the fields of Track Survey & Scanning, Mobile Mapping and Monitoring on a modern and inviting exhibition stand. The focus was on the latest system solutions for track surveying, which include both hand pushed trolley systems and vehicle-mounted measuring systems, as well as systems for automated track position monitoring. The Trimble GEDO Doc system for simple track quality measurements with as-built check and the GEDO IMS system with the latest software solutions for track surveying were particularly emphasized.
The positive mood and enthusiasm of the trade show visitors was clearly noticeable. Trimble Railway would like to express its sincere thanks for the conversations and positive discussions about the latest innovations. The iaf remains an indispensable platform for the exchange and further development of the railroad industry, and Trimble looks forward to continuing to make a contribution to the future of railroad infrastructure.
